A large 17th Century Belgium chestnut and walnut carved ecclesiastical confessional seat cresting rail depicting a religious heavenly ascent scene. Scroll and foliate decoration throughout with carved figures, birds and masks with a central chrube below a protruding Jesus holding the orb with detailed carved leaf decoration surrounding him. Wear commensurate with age, overall a good example. Measures approx

Many minor losses to the carvings and the piece has split in half and reglued
