A mid-19th century rosewood and brass inlaid drop dial fusee wall clock, the white enamelled dial signed Newton & Co/London, with black Roman numerals, the octagonal case inset with scrolling brass tendrils, within gadrooned rim, above fan ornament and glazed panel, with pendulum and key

Condition
The case has been restored and the beading around the dial has largely been replaced and the brass lines have raised up but are glued down and stable, the frame around the dial has slightly warped and there are shrinkages in the timber but the overall look is very good, certainly ready to hang and use.
The movement works fine, I’m not a clock specialist and I do not guarantee the movements I recommend servicing by a specialist.
