A large 19th century continental carved oak cassone chest / trunk being heavily carved with figural masks and relief work. Rectangular form with hinged top above enclosing open storage set within. All raised on carved spade feet with a heavily flared and gadrooned carved plinth. MeasuresHeight 69cm
