Description

pair of Japanese Imari late Edo period chargers / plates of hexagonal form having ochre red and gilt border with white and famille verte panels depicting scenes of still life and birds. The large central panels depicting coiled dragons with continuing patterns from the border. Japanese Ken Kanji mark to base.

Condition, no cracks or breaks, there has been a very small amount of restoration to some tiny rim chips caused by an old set of wire hangers
