A 19th Century French gilded bronze ormolu inkwell in the form of a cherub musician asleep on a crescent moon. The inkwell contained within the lute musical instrument. Impressed Thiebaut Freres foundry mark to base. 1898-1905 Signed: E. DOLIVET, Thiébaut Frères Frumère & Gavignot Sc. Paris.Measures
