Description
A 19th century copper work replica of a 13th century Limoges chasse or reliquary casket decorated with characteristic champlevé enamel depicting biblical scenes to include the crucifixion, with further saints etc, in the form of a small church with scrolling frieze below a hinged lid and bracket supports, measuringHeight 17 cm high
Width 15 cm wide.
Condition
Age related wear, the damask silk inside is loose, the cross on the top of the box has been slightly bent, otherwise in good order.
Delivery can easily be arranged for this item smaller items are generally sent free of charge to the uk, larger items can be sent via a courier, I keep this service as cheap as possible, the larger items are picked up and delivered to you within 7-10 days should you require a quicker delivery expect to pay at least double the normal cost.
