Description

C17th oil on board ( oak ) Dutch school in a C19th swept gilded frame, the scene depicts four gentlemen smoking pipes and drinking ale in a tavern. Beautifully executed and very detailed. Measuring painting 29 x 35.5 cms the frame 51 x 44 x 5 cms condition frame has been over painted and is missing a few of the moulded corner pieces, otherwise sound, the painting has been restored and has a deep varnished coat.
Delivery can easily be arranged for this item smaller items are generally sent free of charge to the uk, larger items can be sent via a courier, I keep this service as cheap as possible, the larger items are picked up and delivered to you within 7-10 days should you require a quicker delivery expect to pay at least double the normal cost.
