Description

A good original rosewood veneered writing slope, the exterior decorated with a banding of mother of pearl and abolone shell. The escutcheons are similarly decorated and in the round.
The untouched interior has its original writing surface, pen tray, stamp box and ink wells and original bottles, there is a secret drawer that opens to reveal two drawers, the useful addition to this box is the extra letter compartments, which is a rare and quality feature

Good and original, some very slight losses to the mother of pearl and a dent in the side( please see photos )
