A 19th century hand painted porcelain panel of Russian interest
depicting Peter the Great (Peter the I, b.1672 - d.1725. Tsar of all Russia 1682 - 1721, Emperor of all Russia 1721-1725). Shown seated on a rearing white horse beside a treeline. Set within a lacquered frame with gilt border. Marked verso in old handwritten label 'Peter the Great'. 13.5 x 8.5 cm. Frame total 25 x 20 cm.
CONDITION
The ceramic panel is in good order, without damage.
The frame has a chip to the top right hand corner.
Light surface scratches to the frame.
Otherwise good.
