A superb quality small oil painting of two women talking and preparing their washing out in the open, on some medieval castle wall overlooking the town, very reminiscent of hot summer days!Painted on an oak board, the painting has been professionally restored, there is no signature, but the back is marked with the inscription, on the walls mayenne 1850
